   Do you need traffic exchanges? What are they for anyway? If you have a website, joined some community you just love or are in a business,  then you need traffic exchanges.

   This is the cheapest way to get people to join you. You are going to put the links in your traffic exchanges to drive people to your websites or businesses. 

    You look at two pages and one person looks at your front page of your website or business. You just surf. Upgrading for $5-10 gets you more credits per surf.

   You will notice as you surf the traffic exchanges, that most do not even have a personal picture on it. You can look at 30 front pages and see only one page with a picture on it. We call these links with your picture on it Splash Pages. If your traffic exchange does not offer a splash page with your picture on it , make one.

   But not you!  You are informed. Put your picture up for greater exposure if you do not have a website or blog with your picture yet.

  Resize your pictures for free at  http://www.picresize.com  Use 75% smaller to get a thumbnail size. Write down the link for your pic that is sent to your email.

  Look for the words "personal splash pages " at each traffic exchange. If the traffic exchange does not offer my picture on it's adds, I just advertise the www.traffictornado.com/x/ref.cgi/30537  

   I have been sending notes to the owners to join a website called www.gravatar.com  that lets you and any website owner get their picture everywhere all from one place.This is a new free company.  

  Just go there one time and add your picture for the traffic exchange owners.

  Join Traffic Tornado it is completey free. Use a gmail e mail box for all the exchanges.

  Join most of the traffic exchanges inside it for free.

  Print out their entire list of traffic exchanges.Staple it together.Put your I.D.'s in for each exchange.

  I also made a note of each owners name,how many members and if I was a free member or not.

  Put your password and user I.D. on the front page too. Keep this list forever.

  The ones at the top of their long list have the most members.

  When you go to each traffic exchange , write down how many members they have.

    Just put one link in all of them at setup time. You can do the rest of it later.

  Always assign just 90% of your credits. Let the others lay. When you want to do a hot new program, you can really give it a boost!

 Splash pages require the person to click on another link to see the webpage. But they look nicer and get better results for your businesses, blogs and traffic exchanges.

  I like my picture up, so if the exchange does not offer it, I do a splash page myself.

   Pick 3-6 to upgrade in.You will not have time to use them all. Specials are sent daily in your email.Open a folder and add each one to it.

  Sometimes I just surf 5  sites in each one to see if they are giving double credits that day.

  It is a big help if you used the same email box for all your exchanges.Then you will get a note from the owners with their specials for the day.
